Technical Specification & Information

Completed artwork/media content must set to the required specification as per our technical data below.

Your adverts can be changed during the event. A member of our scheduling team will ensure that the content supplied is fit for broadcast; i.e. j pegs, images & designs are set to correct resolution, and movies & flash animation are encoding correctly.

Passive adverts are displayed at 60% half screen featured above live Sky TV news, sport, weather & ticker tape news feeds.

Technical Information
Adverts are available at a native size of 1000 x 990 pixels 72 dpi portrait for near full screen size. This size is for still images and flash. Please make sure you turn off compressed headers when exporting the flash movie file of your advert to an swf file format. If you are at all unsure please supply us with the original fla file.

All major digital video formats are supported – mpeg, wmv, mov. Please supply digital video in only Standard Definition (SD) 720 x 576 or High Definition (HD) 1920 x 1080 formats.
